Here is a nice early 70’s Jeep CJ-5 Renegade. She looks pretty stock. You have to love (hate) the white walls! I am not sure when the photo was taken. Does anyone recognize it?

I am quite certain it is a 1974. 1973–1975 are then only years with that exact body (look at the extra 3 inches of front fender behind the front wheel–AMC added that length to allow for the V8 and the even longer straight 6. These were 84″ wheelbase, earlier years were 81″. And beginning in 1976 the windshield was leaned back more) My Dad bought one new, “Renegade Yellow.” We replaced the 304 with a 360, front locker and rear posi. Bad, bad, bad!

I believe you may be right. I never knew about the windshield but when I look closer, I realize that you are right about the fender gap on this picture. Good eye!
