Willys Military Jeep Graveyard

I have to admit that my heart skipped a beat when I first saw these photos. Thousands of army trucks, jeeps, and parts were dumped on the island of Okinawa, Japan after World War 2. These photos were taken onNovember 11, 1949 by Life Magazine photographer Carl Mydans. Oh what a waste! Via Vintage Military Trucks
