Netherlands Willys Jeep Fire Trucks

Once again, Dave over at Ewillys.com has come across some great vintage Willys Jeep photos. These Netherlands Willys Jeep fire trucks are awesome! Look at the front overhang on the photo below. The windshield lights in the photo above blow me away! What is the tubes in the trailer?

Top pic I’m gonna go with compressed gas for fire suppression, the bottom picture front overhang would be the fire pump and valve/hose fitting assembly. The pump would be driven with a pto off the front.

the license plate starts with LM means that it is registered for the (royal Netherlands)air force ( Lucht Macht ). there is survivor around like the LM-13-95 model. for years it was inventory of the Airforce museum at Soesterberg ( NL) and for a while it was on display at the army museum in Delft ( NL.)
