Woodsman 4×4 RV Project Update!

by Wes Kibble on April 17, 2011

A little bit over a year ago, reader Brian Terris submitted some photos of his Woodsman 4×4 RV. Recently, his wife Sheri commented on our Facebook page that they have done a lot work on this unique motorhome. The interior has been gutted and a lot of body work is finally finished. It still needs some work on the outside, but they are starting to see progress! I can’t wait to see it when they are done!

Hello Wes. I have updated the awesome Woodsman once again. The 440 Dodge made great horsepower, but they were very thirty horses. Upgraded to an 6bg1t Isuzu diesel with an Allison transmission. Nice setup.

Very nice looking Woodsman!!

I just purchased a Woodsman. The engine & transmission(318 & A727) work great. I have not tested the 4×4 yet, but I’m told it works as should. It has been completely gutted. Just a hollow body, frame, and drive-train. Paid $250 for it, but it’s going to take lots of $$$ go get it road worthy. First I need to get the brakes working properly. If anybody has any information or details they think I should know please . . . please let me know. Thanks.
