Steve McQueen 1969 Chevy Race Truck

This 1969 Chevy race truck was built by Vic Hickey and was once owned by Steve McQueen. It was the first Chevy truck built for the Baja 1000 and  is going up for auction at the Mecam Auto Aution this July in Santa Monica, CA.

– Fuel tanks have been reconstructed to Vic Hickey’s design
– Original Corvette bucket seats have new foam and were reskinned
– Original Vic Hickey built roll cage system
– Period correct Motorola CB radio

    pretty cool looks like the 1st gmc jimmy my dad raced in the 1970 1000!
