The Search For The SS Burro Buggy

Steve Heckert owns the three 1968 Burro Buggies that we posted about a few days ago. (see here)  Steve has been searching for info and the location of the SS Burro Buggy.  The last person that he knew owned it was Bob Atkins who passed away in the 90’s.  Bob was also known as Koozie Bob because he sold Koozies for beer and soda cans back in the late 60’s.  Bob owned land in SoCal and Las Vegas and a friend of Steve’s had seen the SS Burro Buggy in Bob’s Las Vegas warehouse in the mid 80’s.  Koozie Bob helped out at the races and sponsored some of the early off road racers like Less Coat and Andy D.  If anyone has any info about the SS Burro please leave a comment below.

Steve’s photo notes: #16 pics were taken at Riverside and the others were at the Baja 500 and I
believe the Mint 400 and a SNORE event.
