Toyota FJ28 Land Cruiser, Oldest in Existence?

by Curtis Guise on April 7, 2015

While browsing BAT I came across this FJ20 series Toyota Land Cruiser that was just sold on eBay in Australia.  The owner listed it as a 1958 and BAT says 1955, so I’m not sure which is right.  It is chassis # 8-FJ28-2061 and listed as the oldest one known in the registry at ih8mud.  Could this be the oldest left in existence?

There’s also allot more great info on the FJ20 series Land Cruisers here on the Toyota Global site.
