I’ve always been a fan of Subaru Brats and I just saw this 1984 Subaru Brat GL 4×4 pop up in the race-dezert.com classifieds. Here is some info from Matt’s ad and more photos below.
Exterior wise it’s has a SJR 5″ front and 4″ rear lift kit. Longer Rancho jeep shocks in the rear and Gabriel Struts up front. It’s setting on a set of 27×9.50 Super Swampers SSR on 15×8 Fuel Revolvers. Also has custom winch bumper with KFI 4500lb synthetic winch and rear swing out tire carrier and gas can carrier bumper which is a Rampage offroad toolbox NATO can. Factory high roll bar with led lights and led lights on front bumper. Red halo headlights and red led rock lights in each fender well. Factory jump seats. Factory 2004 wrx sti hood scoop. New windshield. Tinted windows, new windshield with tint across the top. 4 ft Hi-lift xtreme jack with jack pad The car has been painted once before and the the tailgate is flat black where it was supposedly being fixed and the shop up and left. But I was gonna paint the whole car if I kept it and put the correct brat decal on it.
Interior it has Corbuea Baja RS reclining seats with retractable harness and harness pads. Kenwood radio with Polk MM marine speakers. Dash cover. Toggle switch panel for lights with volt meter, usb charger, and regular charger. Uniden Bearcat offroad cb with 5ft firestick. Has winch control mounted in the center console. All gauges work as they should good heat.
Drivetrain is factory 1.8 with Weber 32/36 bigger Holley fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. MSD high energy coil and 8mm plug wires. New plugs and valve cover gasket. Valves just been adjusted. New distributor, water pump, thermostat, radiator, front main seal, altornator, stainless steel radiator hose, front HD axles, brakes front and rear. All new motor and tranny mounts. No exhaust at the moment stops after catalytic converter. All emission stuff is off of it. Egr delete.
