I recently came across a trip report where a group of Meyers Manx buggies and Baja Bugs did a trip across the Borrego desert. A lot of people seem to think that the only way to go off road is with big tires, lockers and 4wd. They seem to forgotten how tough, nimble and capable the VW based buggies are! Great job guys!
