This 1969 Jeep Jeepster is for sale on Long Beach, California Craigs List. Although the photos are pretty small, it looks in pretty good shape. Known as the ugly big brother of the Jeep CJ-7, the Jeepster has a cult following throughout North America. (Although it is not as ugly as the Bullnose) The larget size offers more interior room, but the unique body style is often what draws fans to the Jeepster. A few months ago, we featured an article about the 1969 Kaiser Jeep XJ001 prototype. Today, we have this photo is a 1969 Kaiser Jeep factory shot of the XJ002 “Bolide” concept. The word Bolide means “a large meteor that explodes in the atmosphere,” which is maybe appropriate for a flashy concept car that was never produced. It”s also an unusual name for a Jeep, but this was an unusual Jeep. Its plastic roof had bulges for head clearance. Built on a Commando V6 chassis, the off-road sports car was shown at the 1970 NYC Auto Show, and reportedly the XJ002 still survives and is undergoing restoration

This 1969 Jeep Commando Jeepster is for sale on Ebay and we think it is a pretty good deal for the price. It was repainted about 10 years ago and although there is the odd orange peel here and there, rust seems to be non existant. There is a few electrical gremlins, but overall, the Jeepster seems to be in pretty good shape. We love the vintage Western alloy rims and 8200 seres winch are great periord correct aditions. Thanks to our friends at Bring A Trailer for finding this neat rig!

Once again, I was going through some older posts on the Hemmings Blog when I came across this beautiful 1971 Jeep Jeepster. Not only is it rare because of the SC-1 package, but it is also a half cab. This unique Jeepster is owned by Judy Emerson from the Bronx and is seen at AMC events all over the east coast on a regular basis.
