I have to admit that my heart skipped a beat when I first saw these photos. Thousands of army trucks, jeeps, and parts were dumped on the island of Okinawa, Japan after World War 2. Remember that time that you were driving along a country back road, or even a city street for that matter, and out of the corner of your eye, you spotted an old 4×4 sitting behind a shed? You approached the house and talked to the owner and before you know it, you were hauling away your new project or parts vehicle?
