Looking For Volunteers

I need your help. As you probably know I’ve had Off Road Action up and running in various forms since 2008. In early 2009 it moved to the current format that you see here. It’s been an amazing resource for myself and readers from all over the world. Many of you don’t know, but I [...]

10 Most Read Articles In 2011

2012 is almost upon us. Today we look back at 2011, while tomorrow we will forward into 2012. Last year, our readership numbers continued to grow. As of writing this on New Years Eve morning, we had 399,956 individual hits on the website. I expect that we will see over 400,000 by the time the day is done. I would like to thank every reader for making this site possible. Without you and your input, the site would not be possible.

Happy Holidays!

I would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays. I hope that these holidays finds you eating to much, enjoying a few drinks and most importantly, spending time with those that you love. From my family to yours, Merry Christmas.

My Dad Is My Hero

You have probably noticed the lack of articles posted over the last few weeks. I have to apologize for that. However, I feel I have a pretty good excuse.

Two weeks ago my dad was diagnosed with brain cancer for the second time. The diagnosis itself was not a surprise, as dad was loosing strength in his legs and was getting more easily confused. However, he has gone downhill a lot over the last few weeks. I have not written many articles lately because i have been spending as much time as possible with him. He was admitted to the local hospital on Thursday and was sent to the closest cancer clinic yesterday. I am writing this on Fathers Day morning as my brother, sister and mom take the three hour drive each way to visit him.

Wow. It is hard to believe that 2010 is over already. It seems like it was just yesterday that we were welcoming 2010. It has been an interesting year for myself. I moved across the country to be closer to my family and to be in a much healthier “outdoorsy” lifestyle. Off Road Action has also enjoyed a very successfull year. We were recognized by some very important people in the media and there was a lot of articles written on major automotive blogs across the world that referenced Off Road Action as their information resource.

Why This Job Is Not A Job!

We are actively looking for authors to research and write articles for Off Road Action. We are looking for people that have an interest in vintage vehicles and love talking about them. Each staff member has their own areas of specialty and we are looking to expand our knowledge base. The fact that we do not currently pay for articles is overshadowed by the fact that you get to see your name on the front page of Off Road Action! We are working on reimbursing our authors, but need for the advertising income to become a little larger first.
