willys ma 3 From The Archives #3

Here is another one from my massive collection of old 4×4 photos. If you have any information about this vehicle or the drivers, please post it in the comments. Was this a preproduction Willys? The fenders and grille look different. Were the drivers from the US Army?

    That is a prototype Bantam BRC-60 made by Kaiser-Fraser in 1942. It is one of the fore-runners to the WWII jeep as we know it.

    It’s a Willys MA,which follows Willys Quad-the prototype that was taken to Hollobird for the test drives.After MA, the classic MB with slatgrill version upmerged.The soldiers are obviously of the US Army.
