Back in 1992, supercross start Ricky Johnson joined the Nelson and Nelson race team to pilot one of their Chevrolet S-10 race trucks in the MTEG Mickey Thompson short course series. In the heat race in Los Angeles, he pushed Walker Evans across the finish line as Walker did 3 barrel rolls and still won the race! Johson later on showed some great driving by passing Toyota factory driver Rod Millen on the last lap to win his first feature event!
