I have a 75 with the 318. it is 4X4 with the full time hubs. was given to us a few years ago. it runs pretty good but needs a lot of work, a new carb, all the windows leak. and we are currently in the process of rebuilding the interior. the old shag carpet just had to go, and most of the wood under the wall covering was rotten. also replaced the floor due to rot. hope to have it back together this summer. we love it.

My father had a Woodsman with a 440 magnum and 2WD. As a young (and dumb) man I found that it would easily do 100+ MPH. The body shape was the same as in the pictures here, but I don't think it had the lower grill section. It burned in a garage fire in 1978 and the insurance company could not find another one like it to establish it's value. I had not seen another before or since until I discovered this site. Are there any other known examples of a 2WD model?

Just purchased a Woodsman. The engine & transmission(318 & A727) work great. I have not tested the 4x4 yet, but I'm told it works as should. It has been completely gutted. Just a hollow body, frame, and drive-train. Paid $250 for it, but it's going to take lots of $$$ go get it road worthy. First I need to get the brakes working properly. If anybody has any information or details they think I should know please . . . please let me know. Thanks.
