I am really torn on this one. This Ford Focus-Bronco project showed up at the 2010 Arizona Bronco Stampede last weekend apparently gets around 30mpg. I have to admit that I have been day dreaming about a lowered Bronco for cruising around town and hitting the beach. But my version has a snotty V8 or twin turbo V6 Capri V6. Maybe the V6 would not drink as much fuel. My dream 4×4 Bronco has a 4BT diesel engine to cure the high gas price blues.

I really like how the owner has removed the B pillars. I think once it is painted, this Bronco will look great. Even if I am not a fan of using the Focus gauges. I totally understand the desire for a classic vehicle to get great gas mileage, but I just cannot wrap my head around a Ford Focus Bronco hybrid. Or any front wheel drive Bronco, for that matter. What do you think?
