The All American monster truck was owned by the Spiker family of Florida, who also owned the Miss All American Ford Ranger monster truck. Below we have some great photos of the truck. Did you see the truck in person? Do you have more photos or videos of vintage monster trucks? Photos Via Monster Mayhem.
Thanks to Jay Stark for sending in this BMX photo.
All American, miss All American, and Eagle were the first monster trucks i seen live in moncton New Brunswick Canada back in about 1984. Wow has the sport ever come a long way since back then !!
No doubt! In some ways, I miss the old days, though.
wearing an open face helmet, (if any), only a lap belt, and one arm stuck out the window …The old school, metal bodies looked awesome, fiberglass is ok but not the same !!
I love the look of the old steel bodies! Most of the fiberglass trucks are not even close to looking like a real truck.
i took those pics over 23 years ago in sebring florida at the spikers all american 4×4 center that opened here.
I grew up in Eloise Fl., and remember riding in the bed of the Eagle and Lil All American as a young boy. Mike Spiker was a little more protective of the All American. I will see if my mom has some pics. If so, I’ll send you a few.
Thanks!
Travis
Thanks for the comment Travis. If you have more pics we would love to see them.
I remember the Spiker Bros. All American truck back in the early 80’s. Must have been from the Sarasota / Nokomis area. They had a shop / store front in Osprey. Truck was parked by it in an adjacent lot all the time.
had one up in Bradenton as well on 41 near Cortez road, Back in the Day

Thanks for the reply Jordan. We would love to see the photos and post them if you still have them.
Believe or not?
This truck has ties to a little town in Michigan near where I was born and raised. I still live near Hartford Michigan. There was a retired gentleman a couple of miles down the road from the fruit Farm I grew up. I believe he was Steve’s Dad not sure? We just called him ole man Spiker. They used to stop here when it was touring near Michigan. To make a long story short I have photos of this truck in my neighbors yard. He was an ironworker wieldier after a show in Chicago. the year was 1985. My friend and I got to sit in and explore the truck while his dad Ray welded a gusset on the rear axle. I was a sop more in high school.
I was born and raised in Lakeland. I remember this truck very well. Somewhere are pictures of me sitting inside the rims as a small boy.
Wasn’t that truck at the gas station parked all the time, right on the corner… my uncle lived on lake McLoud rd … I remember it parked at the gas station or shop right there … don’t know if I’m right but I also have a pic as a young boy inside the rim .. remember the guy telling me to be careful there might be glass in the tires from running over the cars … please someone that remembers let me know .. thanks
I see this truck when I teenager back in the mid to later 80’s. A tractor pull came to Bronson Florida filled our high school football field with dirt and put on a show. All American and a monster black jeep.

I used to BMX in the early 80s. One of the high end companies, Profile Racing, had this awesome pic of all the factory team hanging on/off/in front of this truck as an advertisement from 1985!
How do I add the photo?
YES!! I have a picture of this truck and I believe my nephew & I are standing or sitting in the wheel of this truck when we were kids.
