I came into Mom and “POPS” home as a 17 year old with my Aunt Kitty and her future husband Fred. Andy who drove midgets in Freeport NY tried to get me to by one those 3 wheeled cars. Messerschmidt as I recall. He had us all eat Pizza for breakfast. Took us Tijuana, dog racers and place a bet on BonJoJo at Delmar. It won. Mom and Pop were a joy to be with. Four generations and the Devercellys are still booken. That is great. Dune buggies as it started out.
Thanks for giving me this brief moment to reflect about a great moment from over 60 years ago.
