Plymouth produced the TrailDuster from 1974 to 1981. It was based on a shortened wheelbase of the Dodge D Series Ram pickup chassis. It was primarily produced as a 4wd two-door but there were 2wd versions available. The TrailDuster was powered by a Chrylser LA engine, the 318 5.2L, 360 5.9L and also the big block RB 440 7.2L in early years. Chrysler also produced the Dodge version called the Ramcharger from 1974 to 1993 that most are familiar with compared to the TrailDuster.
