G'day James,
Two years late I'm sorry, but I just found your comment. From memory, I used a mob in Crows Nest (Sydney) called DVD Infinity to convert my super 8 to AVI file. There was well over 90 minutes of film. The friend who did that 23 minute story for me was Brett Straughn from from Radium Design, Brisbane. He spent some time cleaning up the scratches etc. from the original.
Cheers, Norm

G,day Norm, I took a trip to cape york in 1978 and filmed it all in silent super 8 kodak film. can i ask what type of film you used and how you got an excellent reproduction in digital format, because i had my super 8 film converted to digital format by a professional company and my super 8 film, which was kept in an air and dust proof container until i had it converted to digital. and can i say the conversion was not very good, a lot of editing on my part just to get it to the stage of clarity. please feel free to answer my question norm, many thanks, James.
