Update: truck has been sold.
This 1964 Dodge Power Wagon W100 is up for sale in Las Vegas, NV. I’ve watched the restoration of this Dodge in the Race-dezert forum and it looks like an excellent truck! Here are some specs and info about the build below.
Poly 318, fresh top end, NP435 4 speed manual, divorced 201 transfer case, closed knuckle dana 44 front axle, dana 60 rear, 4:10 gears. 285/75/16 cooper mud tires mounted on factory non split rims. Original split rims are included as well.
Added mopar electronic ignition and rochester carb with electric choke. Added some auto meter gauges to better monitor the engine.
Truck has been re done from the ground up, starting with a blasted and re painted frame. Floor pans replaced in cab, cab is not original too truck, I do not know the story on that. No rust on this truck. Completely under coated. Factory paint codes for desert turquoise and Dodge truck white, period correct metalux paint.
Starts perfect, engine is strong. Built as a driver. Truck has a battery disconnect with key and a coil power shut off switch on the fuse block. 14 circuit kwik wire harness, all soldered and shrink wrapped. 4 circuits open for future use. Truck has a chrome grill and headlight surrounds from W200. Rare chrome grill hardly ever seen.
There are a few things that still need to be done by the new owner. Heater core is not installed, but have a reconditioned unit. Parking brake cable needs to be replaced. Missing sun visors. Truck has never been cut and buffed since new paint. Lots of hours into this project, and I want it too go to someone that is going to drive it. This truck is as original as I could make it with the exception of the few things I added for reliability.
This is 1 of 504 v8 W100 power wagons built in 1964. You rarely see sweptline power wagons in the condition this truck is in. $26k cash. Sale in person only, shopping is up to buyer. Truck is located in Las Vegas Nevada.
