I spent some time around the STROPPE SHOP in the mid 80.s and was impressed with Bills set up , This new pos has nothing to do with the Stroppe era , other than the name , the hype that goes along with pushing these over priced suv's , mostly made with China / Mexico parts and labor . Give us a break , the only people that ford is going to sell these things to are rich wanna -be's that have only read of the Stroppe shop history but never lived it . with three recalls needed before they even got off the trailer what a joke . "Pearls on a Pig" . Former Professional Factory Ford Dealership Tech , Ask me how I know , Oh dont break your flimsy sealed Mexican made T-Case , they are not rebuildable . SAD.
