For Andrew Knudsen, collecting older Ford trucks was more than just a hobby, it was a way to slow down and escape the stresses of daily life. There’s an irony in that, considering his latest project: a fully built prerunner that’s designed to go fast over the roughest terrain. But in the world of off-road racing, there’s a saying: “Faster is slower.” It’s a philosophy Andrew has always loved.
At the heart of this build is a 1979 Ford F-100, a timeless classic reborn through the expertise of Geiser Bros. While the body still pays tribute to its vintage roots, everything underneath is state-of-the-art, starting with a full 4130 Chromoly tube chassis.
