After reading our article about the Woodsman 4×4 RV , Brian Terris submitted photos of his 1976 Woodsman. It originally came with a 360, but he is building a healthy 440 for it and will be converting it to part time 4wd. It was stripped out of it when he bought it. I did not realize that the back door lifted up like that. Does anyone have more information about these neat rigs? Here is our previous article!
Another Woodsman 4×4 RV!

Well I’ve got the Woodsman up and running again; interior is 95% complete. It’s been 2 years of fixing, but I feel it was well worth the effort. Took it out camping last weekend, and most people in the campground stopped to watch it rumble past. Big Block power!
That is awesome Brian! Can’t wait to see more photos!
Hi Brian, you have a very nice woodsman!! I just purchased a Woodsman. The engine & transmission (318 & A727) work great. I have not tested the 4×4 yet, but I’m told it works as should. It has been completely gutted. Just a hollow body, frame, and drive-train. Paid $250 for it, but it’s going to take lots of $$$ go get it road worthy. First I need to get the brakes working properly. If anybody has any information or details they think I should know please . . . please let me know. Thanks.
