Driving The 1968 International Scout From Fast Five

I just don’t understand it. Originally, there was to be 12 International Scout 800’s in the Fast Five movie. The original intent was to have them driven by the Brazilian military. However, that idea was kiboshed by the production designer and instead the military guys were forced to drive VW Touaregs. WTF? Do they stop by Starbucks before they head out to battle? I thought the military drove real trucks! Vehciles that could take a beating and keep on going?

Have You Seen The Java Jeep?

This is probably the best idea for a street driven Willys Jeep that I have seen yet! Ewillys reader Sebastian sent in photos that his father took of the Coffee Jeep in Rio Negro, Antioquia, Colombia. It all comes down to the little details, like the art on the doors and tailgate. If I had my choice between the Java Jeep or a Jeepney, I would definatly take the Java Jeep! How about you?

Summertime Means Woody Wagons!

There is nothing that says summer time like a bunch of woody wagons at the beach! I have seen photos of the Mercury before. It was converted to 4×4 when new with a Marmon Herrington 4wd conversion. As for the International, it is the first time I have seen it, but I think I am in love! What a beautiful machine! What do you think?

70’s Sand Drag Ford Bronco Restoration Finished!

In October, we featured a vintage sand drag racing Ford Bronco that was originally built in the 70’s and was being restored to its former glory. The owners have been working extremely hard and finished it in time to bring it to a local Southern California Ford car show. They have done an amazing job and the attention to detail is incredible. Read all about the restoration on this Classic Broncos.com thread.
