I have to admit that I have never seen a Willys Jeep fuel tanker truck. Honestly, I never even thought about it until I saw this 1956 Willys Jeep truck for sale. Have you ever seen a Willys truck used as a fuel truck?

Have You Ever Seen A Jeep CJ-5 Camper?
The popularity of our Ford Bronco Camper articles here , here and here proves that people are interested in seeing camperized SUV’s. Even to this day, these articles are some of the most read posts on this website. Even the International Scout camper article and Chevrolet Blazer Chalet articles are extremely popular. So, when you combine the popularity of the camperized vehicle articles and the popularity of our Jeep CJ-5 articles, I think there will be a lot of people interested in seeing the restoration of this 1973 Jeep CJ5 with a camper that was an option in 1969. As you can see, the reader is has pretty much finished the restoration of the CJ and is starting to work on the camper. I will be doing another feature article with more history about the Jeep camper, but in the mean time, does anyone have information about them or photos?

Expedition Ready 1977 4×4 Blazer Chalet Camper For Sale
Epicrider from the Expedition Portal forum is selling his 1977 Chevrolet Blazer Chalet camper. This unique rig is in pretty good shape overall, but does need a few things like having the fridge repaired, new curtains and some minor surface rust. The asking price of $5000 seems very reasonable when you factor in the 3/4 ton running gear and added aftermarket accesories. Check out our previous article on Chevrolet Blazer Chalets for more information.

August was an interesting month. We mourn the loss of veteran off road racer Frank Vessels. His death in a plane accident shocked the off road racing world, not to mention the death of 8 off road racing fans at a desert race in southern California. However, on a good note, the rumours of a [...]
1969 Jeep XJ001 Prototype-A Jeep Sports Car?
You have to admit that the Kaiser Jeep Corporation gave us some very interesting vehicles in the 60’s. The Forward Control Jeep truck, the fullsize Wagoneer SUV, the Jeepster Commando and more. So, why is it such a surprise when you see photos of the 1969 Jeep XJ001 prototype, which is in reality a Jeep off road sports car. The whole concept was the brain storm of Jim Anger and the group of Jeep designers. Since outback adventures were starting to gain popularity at the time, the idea behind the concept was to develop a vehicle that would be fun to drive on the street as well as off road.
1956 Fiat Campagnola 4×4 For Sale
I will be honest with you. I have never heard of a Fiat Campagnola, never mind seen one for sale in the USA. The owner of this 1956 Fiat Campagnola believes that this may be the only one in existance in the USA and I have no reason to doubt him. The ad, which is on Craigslist, also states that is in very good shape and has very little rust. It does not have a soft top, but does have the factory soft top bows to make one. Have you ever heard of a Cmpagnola or seen one in person?
Vintage 1960’s Tierra Del Sol Desert Safari Videos!
The Tierra Del Sol 4×4 Club Desert Safari rally started in 1967 and continues to this day! Below we have some awesome videos from the early years of the annual event, which takes place in the California desert. The Tierra Del Sol rally is easily one of the largest and most popular events in the southwest, if not for all of the USA. We hope that you enjoy the videos below. Watch them on full screen view if you can! It is really neat to see how much technology has changed over the years. Long gone are the days of manual steering, 3″ of wheel travel and bellbottoms. We are happy to see that the family aspect and friendships gained through four wheeling has not changed over the years. Not to mention bikini’s. What do you think of the videos? Do you have some old videos or photos that you would like to share?
