After seeing our recent articles on 67-72 Ford trucks, this reader sent in photos of his 1972 F350 Ford dually crewcab 4×4. What a tank! I can only imagine how much land it takes to turn it around, never mind with a trailer on the back! I can totally visualize this truck with a 10′ 70’s style camper towing a 67-72 race Ford truck or 66-77 race Bronco….I can dream can’t I?
Tom emailed me some more info: This beast has 460 C-6, with 4:10’s, single speed transfer case, A/C, Power Steering, Power Windows with 3 gas tanks which almost get same fuel mileage as our F-450,, It rides good and we had about 8″ of snow and it did its job on un-plowed roads and again,,,
I own this truck now
It’s extremely solid and rust free , one of a kind.
Awesome! If you can send us some photos I’ll post them.
One day soon this one of a kind beast gets a 12v Cummins installed.
I have heard Tom passed last year due to the Covid.
Fuck those Chinese bastards !!
Tom was a good man , he personally delivered this truck to me on his badass roll back. His passing is a real loss, his Spirit will be carried on by us real truck people ,
God Bless
Do you know what was used for the dually fenders?
Dually fenders are the 80s and 90s style
