1956 Fiat Campagnola 4×4 For Sale

I will be honest with you. I have never heard of a Fiat Campagnola, never mind seen one for sale in the USA. The owner of this 1956 Fiat Campagnola believes that this may be the only one in existance in the USA and I have no reason to doubt him. The ad, which is on Craigslist, also states that is in very good shape and has very little rust. It does not have a soft top, but does have the factory soft top bows to make one. Have you ever heard of a Cmpagnola or seen one in person?

Vintage 1960’s Tierra Del Sol Desert Safari Videos!

The Tierra Del Sol 4×4 Club Desert Safari rally started in 1967 and continues to this day! Below we have some awesome videos from the early years of the annual event, which takes place in the California desert. The Tierra Del Sol rally is easily one of the largest and most popular events in the southwest, if not for all of the USA. We hope that you enjoy the videos below. Watch them on full screen view if you can! It is really neat to see how much technology has changed over the years. Long gone are the days of manual steering, 3″ of wheel travel and bellbottoms. We are happy to see that the family aspect and friendships gained through four wheeling has not changed over the years. Not to mention bikini’s. What do you think of the videos? Do you have some old videos or photos that you would like to share?

Here is an interesting photo of a World War 2 era Dodge Power Wagon ambulance in New Guinea.

1979 J54 Mitsubishi Diesel Willys Style Jeep For Sale

I have to admit that I love the Mitsubishi built Willys Jeeps. I would love to pick up a diesel J54, something like this one we featured back in March. The Mitsubishi Jeeps were built from 1953 through to 1998. They had the look of the Willys CJ3B, but with some unique features like diesel power and right hand drive. Of course, one has come up for sale, but the timing is all wrong for me to purchase it. Hopefully one of our readers can pick it up and get us some more photos and information. The owner mentions a 3.0 litre, but from my research, it should be a 2.7L. I love the defrost tubes going up to the windshield. It comes with american paperwork as well as registration and import papers from Japan.

Hard for me to tell, but is this a Dodge Power Wagon or one of the larger Chevrolet trucks?

From The Archives #49

Apparently this is an International Harvester Corporation truck used by the USMC. Does anyone have more information about this?

1966 Dodge Power Wagon For Sale

This former City of Seattle Washington 1966 Dodge Power Wagon WM300 1 ton truck is for sale here on Ebay. I really like the bumble bee yellow with black fender look, and as the folks at Bring A Trailer mention, it really needs a logo on the door to complete it. Looking at the massiver winch and the mounts on the front bumper, I believe that this Dodge Power Wagon used to have an a arm system on the front something like the one from this photo. I am really surprised at the lack of rust on this truck, expecially with it being from Seattle.

1969 Jeep Commando Jeepster V6 For Sale

This 1969 Jeep Commando Jeepster is for sale on Ebay and we think it is a pretty good deal for the price. It was repainted about 10 years ago and although there is the odd orange peel here and there, rust seems to be non existant. There is a few electrical gremlins, but overall, the [...]
