I am sure that you have seen those photos of stainless steel body Jeeps from the Philippines. How often have you dreamed of owning a stainless steel Jeep? Well, wait no longer! Del from OMC has started importing the Willys CJ2A and CJ3B ss bodies, along with an extended version. Due to an influx of import vehicles to the Philippines, a number of stainless steel body manufactures have shut down. After a few years of searching, Del was able to locate a craftsman to build the new bodies for him. Make sure to check out the his website at cj3a-cj3b-bodykits.com or the Facebook page.

Dave from Ewillys sent me this photo after seeing the Rapid Transit Jeep in an article about vintage BC sand drag photos on our sister site, Off Road Race Canada. Roger Mason (sp?) from BC owned this Jeep and travelled all over North America to race it. Probably the most interesting part is that the Jeep was powered by a 4cylinder Chevrolet engine and often beat the big horsepower V8 guys!

The Willys Jeep was used for both working on the farm as well as running back and forth to town. It looks like the owner of this Willys Jeep plans on loading it up with a big load
Vintage Photos Of Chemical Testing At Dugway In Utah
Dave from Ewillys.com posted these photos that he saw on the Salt Lake Tribune website. The Dugway Proving Ground, which is about 85 miles southwest of Salt Lake City, was built in 1942. It has been in constant use throughout the years as not only a test facility for chemical warfare, but as training grounds for soldiers. The photos below have lots of haze and it appears that the chemicals are falling on the soldiers. So much for safety gear!

Do You Remember The Don German Off Road Race Single Seat Willys?
Don German raced his lengthened single seat Willys Jeep in the VORRA series in the 80’s and 90’s. I always loved the desert race Jeep because it was odd looking…what can I say, I love the weird things! Does anyone have more photos of Don German and his unique race Willys Jeep?
2011 Great Willys Picnic Pics
Mark from SellaJeep.com took 8 pages of photos at the recent Great Willys Picnic in Lansford, PA. There was a number of beautiful Willys Jeeps, trucks and wagons, but the highlight of the show was “NellyBelle” from the Roy Rogers TV show.
