The Awesome Kong II monster truck was built by Jeff Dane of King Kong fame. The truck, which was the first rear engine monster truck, was powered by a V12 allison airplane motor. This powerhouse had 1710 cubic inches, 24 exhaust pipes and put out over 3000 hp!
Last month, we posted some photos of an early Ford Bronco bush fire truck. Proving why it is one of the best Ford Bronco forums on the internet, some unique photos were posted.
In response to our recent articles about Ford Broncos with Four Wheel Camper poptop campers, an International Scout owner posted some questions on Expedition Portal about the Scout he recently purchased with a camper. Of course, it was not long before another member posted some great detail photos of his Scout Camper.
Off Road Action reader Rod Hafner sent us this great photo of the Condor off road racing motorhome. He took the photo in the 1969 or 1970 Mint 400.

I do not get onto the RC forums very often, but this build from Scale 4×4 RC caught my eye. Being that the 1969-72 Ford Bumpside F100 is one of my favourite truck body styles, I fell in love with this buildup! What a great job!

The NORRA Mexican 1000 vintage off road race held last weekend was an instant success! We have posted a few photos here and here, but we now have the first videos for your pleasure!
Now how awesome is this! According to the owner of the photo, he was participating in a hill climb near Lethbridge, Alberta in the 70’s. He hit a small pothole at full throttle and the photographer was there to grab an awesome shot! The impact of the wheels was not as good. The result was a bent transmission input shaft!
