1952 Willys in San Felipe, Baja Mexico
Earlier this month was the 45th running of the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000. During my drive home I came across this great looking 1952 Willys truck sitting in front of a tire shop. This was not something I expected to see during my trip to Baja!
CORRA Canadian Off Road Racing In Ontario Photos From 1972
Doug Sutton, who ran the first off road race series in Canada, recently posted some photos on his Facebook profile of the 1972 CORRA (Canadian Off Road Racing Association) race at Swiss Chalet park in Ontario. The photos were taken by Joe Dowbenka. 1972 was the first year for CORRA and the organization would continue to host short course off road racing across Ontario for many years. The only information that we have about this photo is that it was tagged “Alaska1” in the Vintage Shots Of Days Gone By on Hamb. We assume that it was taken on the Alaska Highway. The Chevrolet truck is not four wheel drive, but it is still an awesome vintage photo!
