Broncitis of the Classic Broncos forum has recently purchased one of the infamous balloon chaser F100 and will be giving it a full restoration. You may notice the ambulance Bronco in the photo, which belongs to his father and is also being restored.

Overall, the 1977 F100 stepside is in pretty good shape for being stored outside for the last 20 years. It definatly needs some paint work, the rims will be changed to slots or turbines (both were used) and a mild 460 has replaced the 351m.

How about these moss covered Willys Wagon and Jeep CJ-5? Are they worth saving? As a photographer, they are a dream. As a Jeep enthusiast, it saddens me.

I believe these photos are from a photo shoot that Toyota did when they introduced the Toyota FJ Cruiser in 2008. I am not sure if all the Toyota Land Cruisers are owned by the same person, but regardless, it is an awesome collection! Via Toyota Off Road.com

Let’s just admit it. Steve McQueen is a guys guy. There is very few men in his caliber of coolness. He had the beautiful women. Hell, I am not to proud to admit that he was a damn good looking guy. He could race anything with two or four wheels. He had it all! Check out the video below of McQueen and Faye Dunaway blasting through the sand dunes in the movie “The Thomas Crown Affair”. As Steve McQueen states in the video, “Crown lives at the beach, and he has a sand Dune Buggy. I helped them design it, so I’m kind of proud of that. What it is, it’s set on a Volkswagen chassis, with great old wide weenies – big wide tires on it with mag wheels. Corvair engine stuffed in the back, and a semi reclining position, somewhat like my formula 1 car. It’s very light, you know, I think we are around about 230 horses, and the vehicle weighs about 1000 pounds.”

I have to admit that I have not been keeping up with the vintage monster trucks coming out of the woodwork lately. Honestly, there is just to many different things to keep up with…Retro is on the rise! I know that there is a number of 80’s vintage monster trucks being rebuilt and a few newer old school style trucks coming out. Looking for a project Jeep Forward Control truck? These Jeep FC trucks are rare to begin with and this one looks like a great candidate for a rebuild. Or at least to rob some parts from! It looks like there is some other Jeep Willys Wagons and Jeep Wagoneers sitting there as well.
