1969 Toyota FJ45 Pickup For Sale

We found this 1969 Toyota Landcruiser FJ45 Truck for sale on Ebay. At the time of writing the article, the bidding was at $7500. Given the rarity of Toyota Land Cruiser pickups, and the overall good condition, this seems like a fair price. Probably one of the largest concerns is the electrical gremlins, but the lack of rust makes up for it. What do you think?

I assume this Willys Jeep Wagon is an ex ambulance unit. Does anyone have more information about it?

Restored Willys CJ-3B Jeep

Goose, from the This Old Jeep forum, has rebuilt the 1963 Willys CJ-3B Jeep that he used to drive when he was a teenager. The high hood Willys Jeep was in decent shape to begine with, but still needed some minor body work, along with a lot of running gear work. It looks like the diff oils had not been changed in 30 years! Follow Goose along on his rebuild thread on This Old Jeep. The end result is a great resto mod that was built to be driven. Awesome job!

Are You A Volvo Sugga Fan?

We have featured a few Volvo Suggas for sale over the last few years, but have not looked investigated these interesting vehicles. While doing some research, we came across volvosugga.org. This site has tons of information on the Volvo TP21 Sugga, including lots of photos and manuals. While some restoration purists will be foaming at the mouth, I like the way the sites user is giving his Volvo Sugga a modern 7.3 diesel power plant. Obviously, he intends to drive the Volvo TP21 on a regular basis.

In the 1950’s, the Volvo TP21 fulfilled its original role as a rugged, off-road radio communications vehicle for the Swedish Armed Forces. Because of its snout-like front end and rounded rear end, the vehicle was nicknamed “Sugga”, meaning sow, or mother pig, in Swedish. (hear it pronounced: soo-ga ) Today, the Sugga is a favorite of military vehicle preservationists, 4×4 off-roaders, show-car enthusiasts, Volvo fanatics, and even auto-buffs who want a unique sport-utility vehicle for daily use. Volvosugga.org site provides information about Suggas, and in particular, my experiences buying a Sugga in Sweden, importing it to the US, restoring it and driving it.

Matchbox Releases 1st Generation Toyota 4Runner Toy

Matchbox recently suprised us by releasing a 1st generation Toyota 4Runner to it’s lineup. The new 4Runner toy is a great copy of the 1985-1989 Toyota 4Runner. The toy colors and striping are very close to those of the original and the tires are proportional to the vehicle size, unlike the Matchbox size toys with monster truck tires. However, the chrome interior leaves a little to be desired. What do you think? Would you pick one up if you saw it at the local store?

1980 Subaru Brat For Sale

Once again, Bring A Trailer has found another oddity for sale. While a 1980 Subaru Brat may not seem odd or rare to some, it is definatly something that you do not see every day here in Canada! It still has the original stickers under the hood, not to mention the spare tire on top of the engine! So, do you want this Subaru Brat as much as I do?
