Check out the vintage videos of the first Mexican 1000 off road desert race from 1967. This race started as the NORRA Mexican 1000 and later evolved into the infamous Baja 1000.

The NORRA Mexican 1000 vintage off road race is on this week, so expect to see a lot of photos of vintage desert race vehicles over the next few days! This first group of photos are from this post on Race Dezert, along with this and this one from Off Road Mexico.

About a year ago, Todd Zuercher and Andrew Norton (from www.bajabronco.com) located and purchased the Stroppe built Ford Bronco that Rod Hall built in the 70’s. The restoration is almost complete and the Bronco will be participating in the NORRA vintage off road race.
