This truck blew its motor on East Matunuck Beach in RI in the 1980’s. That was the last of I heard of this truck
yes i do,
I was in denver then helping my cousin and his friend in the dry cleaning plants,
I got the may or june Issue of 4 wheel and off road,
godzilla was on the fron cover story,
I was looking for pics of the truck, and now I found it.
Godzilla was done tastefully in the aqua green, and chrome wheel’s with chrome lightbar on back, and tilt bed and hood.
with chrome sidepipe’s,
i think it was better looking than any of the truck’s out there outside of Awesome Kong with the Allison V-12 in the bed,
I actually helped Alvin with the hydrolics on that truck. Those were some fun days. Sadly Al SR has passed away.
did you know a guy named Mike Weiner?
Has any one seen where this truck has gone to? I am one of the three who bought it off of the Thurber’s in 2005. I’d like to find it again
Thanks for posting Keith. Do you have any pictures of it you can share?

Thanks for commenting Alvin. Maybe someone will see this that knows where it is. If you have any old photos you can share I would love to post them here on the site. Maybe that would help get more exposure and we can find where it is.
please contact me at 5614001272 or by email Chucky.weiner0@gmail.com. My father Mike Weiner built the pick up and go kart for it
Last I heard it was sold to West Coast Choppers, Boyd Coddington and SoCal Customs. Maybe contact Jesse James and see if he has it still or knows of it’s whereabouts.
I remember seeing the Godzilla monster truck as a kid at the stadium in plainville Connecticut. The good ole days!
So I got a poster of this truck and a guy standing in front of it. It’s signed by a Art Foster though, who is Art Foster? Any ideas?
Artie Foster Owned or still owns a Trucking Co in Eastern Long island NY. I’m from Mattituck Long Island and used to see the Truck sitting in front of his Shop on Route 48 .. I believe he sold it before I moved to Seattle in 1995 ..
I grew up in Massachusetts but my grand parents lived in Rhode island and knew Alvin and my father did as well he has a picture of me sitting in the wheel when I was like 5 or 6 that truck was huge to me when I was a kid
