How about these moss covered Willys Wagon and Jeep CJ-5? Are they worth saving? As a photographer, they are a dream. As a Jeep enthusiast, it saddens me.

Best off-road vehicle I ever owned. 1956 CJ5 3spd, 134 with an oil bath air cleaner, twin stick, 5.38 axle ratio, drums all the way around, manual everything, heater and defroster were worthless, totally stock except for wheels, tires and custom roll cage.

Barn Find Jeep CJ-5 Camper For Sale On Ebay!

Well, it is not really a barn find Jeep CJ-5 camper, but it might as well be! Off Road Action reader Jeep Looker found this factory camperized 1969 Jeep CJ-5 on Ebay and posted on the Jeep CJ-5 Camper restoration article. This is probably the most rare Jeep as only 336 of these were made in 1969 only. I have never seen one in person and have seen very few photos of camperized Jeeps. Of course, this one needs a complete rebuild, but is has so much potential! The problem is that if I purchased and restored it, I would not want to take it off road and go camping. Knowing my luck, I would end up putting over a cliff like this driver almost did in these vintage Jeep CJ-5 camper photos. Imagine restoring one of the most rare jeeps, then driving it off a cliff….

1953 Willys Jeep Bobcat-Another Jeep Prototype

A few weeks ago, we featured the prototype 1969 Jeep XJ001 4×4 sports car. Today we have another Jeep prototype, but we are going back to the companies army roots. Being that the Bobcat was designed to be an air drop vehicle, it weighed only 1475lbs. The tiny Willys Jeep shared a lot of parts with the M-38 and M38-A1, although the frame was from the MB tooling. Sadly, the Willys Jeep Bobcat never made the production line. However, we are still looking for more information about it. Does know more?
